It's more than just a plate. ...

Half-Yearly Plate Diary Dollars report

Since starting our Plate Diary Dollars program seven months ago, we have been impressed with how it's grown. To this point, we have donated $1 per Plate Diary comment to FeedingAmerica.org, which is then matched by Kraft Foods. Because of this partnership, each dollar that we donate provides 32 bowls of food to hungry people across the USA.

We were thrilled to count up all the Plate Diary comments made between January 1, 2009 through June 30, 2009 and calculate how many bowls of food all of you provided. The grand total donated for the first half of this year is $33.

This may seem piddly, but this provided a whopping

1056 bowls of food.

Our plate runneth over. This is incredible, you guys!

Let's keep those plates moving and see if we can double that for the second half of the year!

Remember, there's no charge for you give a Pass It On Plate to anyone, and you will not be asked to pay anything or donate any money.

We now have a complete list of Plate Diaries, by number. Click here to view the list.

A Pass It On Plate is a ceramic plate that travels from person to person, sharing food gifts and bringing goodies to pot luck dinners.

Each plate has its own tracking number which corresponds to an online Plate Diary.

As people pass their plate from person to person,

they visit our website to read messages left for them by their friends, read about where the plate has been and what it has carried, and they can leave messages to their friends before they pass it on again.
