Fall 2008 Flying Plate contest rules

To qualify:
All plate diary entries must be made at the official Pass It On Plates plate diary at www.passitonplates.com

About the Plate Diary comments:
Plate diary comments must be in context with the Pass It On Plates concept and along the lines of “Here is a plate of cookies for you” and not “Gee, I would really like to win.” Multiple consecutive plate diary comments (two or more in a row from the same person) count as one entry. The same rule applies to submitting pictures. The idea is to keep these plates flying, so one picture per plate please. Don't go crazy and send us 600 pictures of you giving the same plate to Aunt Martha again and again. If you do, still you get three contest entries.

We can't send you your prize if we don't know how to find you.
When submitting your entry, include your contact information, such as an email address, link to a blog or website, or phone number. Any entries made without contact information will not be included in the drawings for practical reasons.

Contest dates:
Qualifying entries made between 12:01am PDT on the first day of the calendar month until 11:59pm PDT on the last day of the calendar month will be included in that month’s drawing. Monthly drawings will be held on the first day of the following month. The grand prize drawing will pool all winning and non-winning entries from the duration of this promotion, ending at 11:59pm PDT on September 30, 2008. The grand prize drawing will take place on October 1, 2008. All monthly and grand prize winners will be notified within 24 hours of their respective drawing and winners will also be announced on our blog at www.passitonplates.com.

Photos must be in .jpg format when emailed, and it is recommended they are emailed as an attachment on the email. All photos submitted become the property of Pass It On Plates and will be published on the plate diary for the plate shown in the picture. These photos may also be used at our discretion for other promotional purposes.

Your privacy is extremely important to us and we will never ever share, sell, loan, or otherwise use your personal contact information in a way that could compromise your trust in us.

No purchase necessary.

A FLYING PLATE™ is any plate that is actively being passed from friend to friend.

A Pass It On Plate is a ceramic plate that travels from person to person, sharing food gifts and bringing goodies to pot luck dinners.

Each plate has its own tracking number which corresponds to an online Plate Diary.

As people pass their plate from person to person,

they visit our website to read messages left for them by their friends, read about where the plate has been and what it has carried, and they can leave messages to their friends before they pass it on again.

Thank you for visiting!
