Peggy,
My grandmother made these cookies. This is the Swedish recipe her grandmother brought over from Stockholm. Maybe you would like to share them with your guests. -Dan

Isn't it exciting to read a diary?
Each Pass It On Plate has its own online diary. Look up your plate's tracking number to see where it has been. Leave a message before passing it along again.
Have fun!

As people pass their plate from person to person,
they visit our website to read messages left for them by their friends, read about where the plate has been and what it has carried, and they can leave messages to their friends before they pass it on again.

Hi Aunt Alma,
ReplyDeleteI managed to talk Dan into giving me the recipe for his Grandmothers' cookies. (It wasn't hard - I promised to make them whenever he wants.) I made you a batch, too. Aren't they good? Dan said it was ok to give you the recipe, so I slipped it under the cover.

Hello Barb.
ReplyDeleteThe girls in the Senior Center helped me go to the computer place on the plate and showed me where to click. I guess it wasn't as hard as I thought. This is a nice plate idea.
I know you are always asking for my recipe for cinnamon twists but that's my little secret. I will put it in my will for to you when I die. Meanwhile, why don't you eat the ones I put on the plate?
Be well,
Alma Sorensen
Hi Donna,
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to visit with you when you come to Duluth. Here are some muffins to take back to John, and tell him I said "Hello!" Looking forward to meeting him some time.
